Great job yesterday!
We finished our banners and worked on adding them to our channel. Here is a video and instructions if you need more help!
Keep in mind that channel art looks different on computer, mobile, and TV displays — larger images may be cropped.
Sign in to YouTube.com.
Select your profile picture Your Channel.
Select Customize channel.
New channel art: To add new channel art, click Add channel art near the top of the screen.
Existing channel art: To replace your existing channel art, hover your cursor over the existing banner and click Edit Edit channel art.
Upload an image or photo from your computer or saved photos. You can also click the Gallery tab to choose an image from the YouTube photo library.
You'll see a preview of how the art will appear across different devices. To make changes, select Adjust the crop.
You can also learn how to add or change the background of your channel page by watching this video.
By next week, I would like you all to have your banners completed and up on your channel! If you need help I can assist you in class as well.
We have some new students to our class so if you haven't done your intro video yet, please do and submit the link in a comment on this post!
In 2 weeks (Sept 16) your next video is due. The video can be any topic you want for your channel!
I want everyone to set up an account with Canva.com- if you have an iPad or tablet or phone, there is an app for it as well! It is free and easy to use. Just set up an account on your phone/tablet/computer and next week we will be working on making something for your channel on it!
If any of you were struggling to edit on Snappa.com because you were using a tablet, I would recommend trying to make your banner on the Canva app instead!
As always, if you have any questions or concerns, email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
See you next week!
