Today we reinforced the need for being thorough and following methodical steps when approaching and processing a crime scene. Remember, the accuracy of crime scene processing can 'make or break' the ability of the team to solve a crime and prosecute a suspect.

1) Review the notes summarized from the powerpoint from class. (see below)
2) Study for a 'crime scene' quiz that will be given at the beginning of class next week. Review notes from weeks/lessons 1- 6, although the primary focus of the quiz will be from lessons 4 - 6.
3) Watch forensics files Season 3; Episode 9 and complete the worksheet. (see below) This episode leads us into the first type of evidence we will study in depth: hair and fibers.
