Lesson 6

Today we continued to learn self-defense tactics!  As Coach Ryan noted, it's not about strength and 'winning', it's about getting out of danger!

I know next Monday is the last Monday of the month and is supposed to be a 'cooking class' BUT ... instead we have a guest speaker from the Sheriff's department to talk about distracted driving.  Distracted driving is the #1 cause of accidents and highway fatalities in the United States, causing more accidents than speeding and drunk driving.   

Homework:

1.  Write a thank you note to Coach Ryan for taking the time to teach us self-defense tactics.  You may type or hand-write the note.  Submit in class next week and I will mail them.
